I'm Beck.

I grew up in the bush in Duckinwilla QLD, and I have put down roots 25 minutes up the Bruce Highway in the small town of Childers. I love where I live - I have rich red soil under my feet, and I'm only a stone's throw from sandy beaches, rugged mountains and untouched bushland.

I am a self-taught photographer, and I love using natural light. I have a passion for curating authentic moments and experiences for my clients full to the brim with real emotion. I am there to capture your moments, and to bring out the best in you, removing any expectations or false pretences.

Did I mention that I love being outside? Nature is the one of the best backdrops for a photograph, but I'm also 100% down for a cosy indoor/urban location where my clients can feel safe and confident within themselves (even better if there's coffee). I am constantly on the lookout for beautiful locations, colours, lines and textures, and I'm not afraid to do some mild Bear Grylls/MacGyver-ing to get to a breath-taking location if need be! Mountain-top elopement, anyone?

I pride myself on having an editing style that celebrates rich colours and textures while maintaining true skin tones. Black and white images may frequent your gallery here and there - sometimes emotion is better portrayed in monotone! A lot of my inspiration comes from the colours and natural materials of Australia - from the bush to the ocean, and everything in between.

My love for documenting real people with real stories has moulded my photography style into what it is today. I want nothing more than for my clients to look back on their photographs and feel what they felt in that moment. I guide you throughout the session by inviting joy and incorporating movement, tailoring the experience to suit you. It is my hope that our sessions are fun and engaging, and that you get in the car afterwards a little more in love than before.

I am most likely to be found with a cup of coffee nearby, living life with intention alongside my ever-supportive husband, our little grey cat and a handful of chooks scratching in the backyard.

What are we waiting for?! Let's chat and go exploring!
